Pepsico Food Services commissioned Kingsland & Pile Architects to design a completely new concept for the interiors of all of their new and renovated restaurants. The first restaurant, an existing location in the City of Oshawa, required that the restaurant dinning room not be closed for more than two weeks.

The locations opened on time and on budget. The design concept incorporated colours and finishes, appealing to Pizza Huts primary target market group – young families with children. The design is alive and fresh, colourful and imaginative without being offensive to the parents, teens and seniors who also frequent Pizza Hut. The response to the new concept from both the customer and client has been truly rewarding. Sales are up and the comments have been extremely positive.
